Christmas Tree Story

How about a Christmas story to start off the season. Our Christmas tree arrived by special delivery this year. Seemingly from the heavens. A little early, and a little messy.

It started with a stormy late afternoon.....And about 24 hours later……Peace on Earth again.

Thanks to Bruce at Champion Tree Service for the quick service. I asked Bruce how the top looked for a possible Christmas Tree: 'not bad." And special thanks to my pal Tim, who came over for a consult in the morning...and we decided....let's just do it now. Six hours on the roof later, we finished the repair, which included the technical challenge of replacing a broken roof rafter... all the the while humming “Fixing a Hole” by The Beatles.

"I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering,
Where it will go..."
